There are a few people that have been with us for years. They have helped from A to Z with all the teams. From being on the starting line and getting knocked down, kicked, stomped, broke ribs, ripped cloths, etc. Getting a good start on the line can determine who gets around the barrel first and to the inside and can make a difference on who wins the race. We could not race without them!!!!!
Pictured above is Bob Hill with a long time friend and right-hand Tommy Martin. Tommy has been racing with Bob since they started--11 years.
We cannot race if Tommy is not on the starting line holding the mules. Along with Tommy is his wife Kathy Lou. Kathy is camp mom, always there with
a hug and food and lots of encourgament. If you need anything, Kathy is there is help and take care of you. |

Cary McFadden(pic above) has been going to all the races and has been a trooper. What ever that has needed to be done or what wagon that needed repaired, he was there. At the races, if a cook was in desperate need or an outridder, Cary was there. The races was complete with him helping. Along with Cary is his wife Becky. She was told the only rules to remember at camp was not to drink the bug juice or ride in a wagon(LOL). And at the very first race, she did both, with Dumb & Dumber taking her through the pond getting totaly muddy!! She was a sport and had fun and was also hooked on chuckwagon races. Becky also helped keep everyone full of food. She was always cooking breakfast, supper, watching the smoker or something. Can't wait to see what she brings this year!! |

In this picture has both What About Bob and Dumb & Dumber with their outridders. Words can not express how gratefull weare to have these two for outridding. It doesn't matter how fast you are if the out-ridder does not make it. Eric Morris(black shirt)and Opie Brines(purple) has been awesome hands. When they joined our teams, made a world of difference. They are our anchors!!! Along with Opie is his wife Keri. She has taken to chuckwagon races like a fish in water. She will hook=up the teams, race, either driver or cook. Keri loves the racing and has gotten a team of her own for the up coming race season. Opie, Keri and Eric has made our teams complete!!!!
